To all our members:
Hi! I'm Kal, the current acting President of the Urban Planning Society; to those who were able to attend our meeting earlier this Wednesday, thank you so much for taking the time and effort to visit us in GRID! Words cannot fully describe how much of a delight it was to see people who share our interests and passions, and we're definitely looking forward to hosting more of these events and much more for this academic year (and hopefully beyond). At this point, we require at least three more members before we can become an official group within the Student Union, so any help that you can provide in achieving that milestone would be greatly appreciated!
Beyond reaching ten members for a full official society, we're looking into more long-term plans for this group; at this point, they're just basic ideas, but suggestions and recommendations for what we could do are more than welcome! If you would be interested in such efforts, please send us an email; do let us know if and when you would be available for any of these. We'll likely start off with some more social events, just to test the waters for now.
