To all new 4th year Design for Textile students - we need you!!
Our AGM is due to happen on the 25th of July and this is your opportunity to sign-up to the committee and take over the society for next year's fundraising so that you can attend the New Designers 2023 exhibition in London and showcase all your amazing work.
Are you a 4th year Design for Textile student about to start your graduating year at the Scottish Borders campus? Do you want to be part of the fund-raising group to help send you guys to the New Designers exhibition next year? Do you fancy being in the New Designers Society and/or fancy being on the committee?
Well, we are planning on having our first AGM on the 25th of July via Teams. There are many committee positions available – head on over to our Instagram stories section for more details on these.
In the meantime, please do ensure to sign-up to our society page (link in the bio) and check out some of the available positions that become available mid-July.
If any of the committee positions take your fancy drop us a message and get your name in the running! If there is more than one candidate for a position we will ask the candidates to say a quick word on why they’d be good in the role, and other attendees can ask questions and then cast votes. All votes will be sent to Jane Gray at newdesigners.society@hw.ac.uk by time/date tbd and we will update asap.
