The Edinburgh University Officers' Training Corps (CEUOTC) offers a unique experience to university students looking to challenge and develop themselves, make life-long friends and get paid.
You will receive internationally recognised military and leadership training along with the opportunity to immerse yourself in a variety of sports and adventurous training activities. The training is designed to fit around your academic commitments.
Edinburgh UOTC fields competitive teams in many disciplines such as Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Football and much more. As an Officer Cadet you will be supported to try new sports and even compete at the highest levels in your chosen field.
Adventurous Training features strongly throughout the UOTC year and enables Officer Cadets to test and stretch their limits. You can train in anything from kayaking in the UK to skiing in the Alps, to rock climbing in Bavaria.
We also have a fantastic social calendar, from glittering dinners and cocktail parties to casual fancy dress events, the CEUOTC has everything you need to enhance and complement your time at university in Edinburgh.
You are under no obligation to join the Regular Army or Army Reserves after your time with the UOTC finishes.
