We would like to invite you to an exciting virtual opportunity on Wednesday 18th November 2020.
We have collaborated with Microsoft to run a virtual “Hackathon” where groups of students from the ages of 16 and above in education are invited to take on sustainability-based challenges.
Each challenge will have the option of 3 pathways, Code / Engineer / Process. This will allow each group to play to their strengths and showcases the need for all different types of skills within the technology sector.
The hack will be open to US, UK and SE & MEX students, run over 48hrs (+ time difference) with cool prizes provided by AZ for the best ideas. We have some exciting videos from apprentices, graduates, world-leading experts you can learn about the types of opportunities AZ has to offer as well as access to mentors that can help you build out your ideas.
We will be using Microsoft Teams to host the event, with registration, scheduling, chat and content to help make this an immersive and enjoyable collaboration experience for everyone involved.
Teams can be up to 4 people but if you struggle to find 4 individuals please answer the questions on the invite and we can put you in a team with like-minded individuals.
So, whether you are a crazy coder, a technology specialist, studying IT or are just interested in sustainability and how we can set the future up for success.
We cannot wait to meet you and see the incredible ideas that you come up with!
