Zeros

Is our main entertainment venue within the Student Union and can hold up to 450 people. There's a bar and a space for DJ booth, as well as a full lighting rig and PA system. Zeros is often used for club nights, drama performances and large meetings - make sure you tell us what you require when enquiring about a booking to make sure we can provide everything you need. Lighting and Sound equipment requires our Events staff to operate to make sure your event runs smoothly.

How can I book Zeros?

To book Zeros, please email Stewart, Head of Commercial Development on Stewart.MacDonald@hw.ac.uk to discuss your needs. Please note, Zeros is often in high demand so priority goes to events the specifically need its size and equipment (but we will always try to find you a suitable alternative space!).

What does it cost?

Use of Zeros is free for affiliated Heriot-Watt Student Union societies. There may be some additional charges for extras like: 

• Deposit for Opening the Bar (this is returned if you reach a minimum sales level)
• Having our Security Staff Present
• Use of the Events Crew
