PBSA: Purpose Built Student Accommodation
What are PBSAs?
PBSAs (Purpose Built Student Accommodation) are big business here in Edinburgh, and they’re popping up all over the city.
PBSAs offer the same level of comfort as University Halls of Residence, often with 24/7 security and a reception service. Because of this, they can often come with a hefty price tag to match. This does include all bills and that all-important wi-fi in the cost.
Often in PBSAs you can expect to share a kitchen between 3-9 other flat mates, although a few blocks do have studio or family apartments to cater for individuals, couples, and small families.
Some examples of PBSAs are The Mill House, IQ accommodation and Vita Students.
