Pick a Budget
One of the most important things to consider before starting to look for a flat is your financial situation. Housing in Edinburgh can be quite pricey, even before bills – so make sure to come up with a budget before you go rushing off to viewings. It is important to remember to realistically factor in your other expenditure, including bills, socialising and groceries. You don’t want to put yourself under significant financial stress! Do your research
Make sure to DO YOUR RESEARCH. Deciding where you want to stay is so much more than finding somewhere to stay - it’s where you’re going to sleep, eat, study and recover from those nights out! Here are some things you need to think about:

Location: Where do you want to live? Are you going to be able to get to Uni/your part-time job/see your mates easily from here?
